Publicity Reports-Quick Report

Publicity Assistant 2000 provides two primary types of publicity reports for Promotional Tours –the “Quick Report” for individual author tours, and departmental reports. The Quick Report gives you a summary of all your bookings and reviews that have been scheduled for an individual author.

These reports display the bookings for a single Promotional Tour project as well as all the print reviews. There are spaces at the beginning and end of the report to add any information that is pertinent to your project. A line in the report, which includes the date, the city, the time, and the host, represents each booking.

Once you have entered bookings for an author tour and any other information including reviews (see: Adding Print Reviews to Publicity Reports), generating a report is simple.

1. Open the Promotional Tour project.
2. Select the Itinerary tab.
3. Press the Quick report button towards the bottom right of the window. To generate the report in Word simply check the box “send to word.”
4. Enter the earliest date to include
5. Control-end

A print preview of the report will appear. Use the print toolbar to page through the report, print the report, or close the report and return to your project.
