Coping, Cutting and Pasting

Within a contact record you can copy, cut and paste pieces of text. To copy a piece of information, select and highlight the text by depressing the shift key and highlighting the text using your mouse. Next, type control-c on your keyboard to copy the highlighted text. Next, if you wish to cut the text, type control-x. Then to paste, place your cursor in the desired box and type control-v and the text will be inserted. Alternatively, you may use your edit pull-down menu at the top of screen to copy, cut and paste.

HINT: Remember to depress the shift key when highlighting text.
